About
A private members' club built around cars, driving and the people you want to share both with.
Drive Collective started as a handful of people who'd rather talk cars over coffee than trophies. It's grown since then, but the idea behind it hasn't changed: bring together people who genuinely enjoy driving, give them good reasons to get out on the road, and keep the group personal enough that people actually know who they're driving with.

How it started
What began with informal meet-ups grew naturally into local drives, events and longer trips further afield. There was never a plan to build the biggest car club possible. The point was to create the kind of group we'd want to be part of ourselves — one where the cars get used, the conversations continue after the drive, and people come back because they enjoy the company as much as the route.

What we do
Some days are a few hours on good local roads followed by coffee. Others take us much further, with multi-day tours built around the roads and places worth making the journey for. Between them are regular events, Cars & Chai mornings and the private community that keeps people connected when we're not behind the wheel.

The format changes, but the reason for doing it doesn't: good cars are better when they're driven.
Keeping it personal
We've kept Drive Collective deliberately considered as it's grown. Every membership application is looked at personally because the value of the collective comes from the people in it, not the size of the membership list.

It's not about exclusivity for the sake of it. It's about keeping the group small enough that it still feels like a group, and making sure the people joining are looking for the same thing as the people already here.
Cars & Chai
You don't have to apply for membership to see what we're about. Cars & Chai is our regular free meet-up and the easiest way to meet members, see what turns up and get a feel for Drive Collective before deciding whether you want anything more from it.

Bring your car if it's got a story, or just come for the coffee and everyone else's.
