These terms form the contract between you and UR Inc Ltd, trading as Drive Collective (“DC”, “we”, “us”), when you become a member.

1. Membership types

1.1 We offer free and paid membership. Partner memberships are arranged by separate agreement.
1.2 The current fee and benefits for each membership type are shown on our membership page.

2. Joining

2.1 You must be 18 or over and hold a full driving licence to become a paid member.
2.2 Your membership starts when we confirm it by email and runs for 12 months from your joining date.
2.3 Membership is personal to you. You must not share or transfer it, or bring guests to DC meetings or events without first agreeing it with a DC representative.
2.4 We may decline a membership application at our discretion. If we do, we will refund any fee paid.

3. Fees and automatic renewal

3.1 Membership fees are payable in advance.
3.2 Paid membership renews automatically every 12 months. We will charge the renewal fee to the payment method you used to join (or have since updated) on your renewal date, unless you cancel before then.
3.3 We will email you at least 30 days before each renewal date with the date, the amount and how to cancel.
3.4 You can turn off automatic renewal at any time from your account or by emailing info@drivecollective.co.uk. Your membership will then end on your next renewal date.
3.5 We may change fees for future membership years. We will tell you at least 30 days before your renewal date, and you can cancel before the new fee applies.
3.6 Membership fees do not include the cost of trips or events, which are charged separately under our Event Booking Terms.

4. Your right to cancel

4.1 You can cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund by emailing info@drivecollective.co.uk.
4.2 If you ask to use member benefits (for example, attend an event) within those 14 days, we may deduct a fair amount for what you have used.
4.3 If your membership renews automatically and you did not mean it to, you can cancel within 14 days of the renewal date for a refund, less a fair amount for any member benefits you have used since renewal.
4.4 Outside these periods, you can cancel at any time, but fees already paid are not refunded unless we are at fault.

5. Conduct

5.1 DC is about community, not status. Members must treat each other, the public and venues with respect.
5.2 Members must follow our Participation Terms & Disclaimer at all DC events, including the ban on racing, timing and dangerous driving.
5.3 Harassment, discrimination, dangerous driving or behaviour that harms DC’s reputation may lead to suspension or termination of membership.

6. Suspension and termination

6.1 We may suspend or end your membership if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. We will tell you why and, where reasonable, give you a chance to respond.
6.2 If we end your membership without fault on your part, we will refund the unused part of your fee.

7. Changes to DC

We may change events, benefits and these terms. We will give members reasonable notice of significant changes. If a change significantly affects you, you may cancel and receive a refund for the unused part of your fee.

8. Liability

8.1 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
8.2 Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the membership fees you have paid in the previous 12 months.
8.3 Taking part in events carries its own risks, which are covered by our Participation Terms & Disclaimer.

9. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected. Questions: info@drivecollective.co.uk.
